Jamie Mathias is the current bassist of Bullet For My Valentine as well as backing vocalist and live co-lead vocalist.
Early life[]
Mathias was born in Abertysswg in the Rhymney Valley, Wales on October 4th, 1990.[1]
He first saw Bullet For My Valentine live in 2009 in Florida and instantly became a fan.[1]

Revoker[]
Before he joined Bullet For My Valentine, Jamie Mathias was the lead singer of Welsh groove metal band Revoker. The band released signed to Roadrunner Records and released one album, Revenge For The Ruthless, in 2011. The band were forced to go on hiatus after Warner Brothers bought Roadrunner Records.[1]
Bullet For My Valentine[]
In March 2015, while working the night shift in a car sales showroom in Cardiff called The Car Shop, he got a text from Padge asking if he wanted to audition for Bullet For My Valentine. He had been friends with the band's guitarist for some time at that point. Mathias recorded an audition tape and went to London to jam with the band. The band quickly decided he was a good fit. His first tour with Bullet was in South America and the US to support Slipknot.[1][2]
Shadow Addict[]
In 2021, Mathias formed electronic metal band Shadow Addict along with Bullet For My Valentine drummer Jason Bowld and other members, and released an EP, Vibrations.
